The June monthly meeting will be a potluck picnic lunch and hike starting with lunch overlooking Cold Creek in Monte Nido, followed by a hike along a fairly easy part of the backbone trail, with the possibility of rare flowers.

Meet at 547 Live Oak Circle Drive, Monte Nido, CA (Vacant lot on left at top)

DIRECTIONS:
From Malibu/PCH: Take Malibu Canyon Rd northwards about six miles, to the lights at Piuma Rd and turn right.
From the 101, take the Las Virgenes exit and head south about four miles to Piuma Rd.
Then
Continue about 1/2 mile on Piuma, turn left into Live Oak Circle Drive, pull in near the vacant land top left.
Walk through more or less level across the grassy areas till you hear people talking.
